I think the dude is legit top5 at this point and a real contender, but hes getting asked about what superfights he wants once he wins the belt? His coach even came out and said he will be a 2 division champ how about working on getting a title shot first at this rate they might as well throw this dude in the HOF now and save time. Am I the only one who thinks this hype is getting silly?

His coach actually said he would be a THREE division champs. Get you facts straight, bow down, and kiss the feet of the GOAT.
The thing is, he truly believes that he is that great, and every time they give him a step up in competition he dismantles his opponent (not counting the fight where he blew out his knee) and backs it up. So you can either wait tell he fails, just to be able to scream I TOLD YOU SO! Or, you can get on board with watching someone who is just as charismatic as he is dominant.
That is unless of course you would like to point out a fundamental flaw in his game that you think will be his undoing unless it gets fixed. If you have a technical critique then sure, it is fair to say he is overhyped and he is about to be exposed. Barring that however, it just sounds like "I don't like him and people who do, are only being fooled by the hype".

No sometimes we can just tell when someone has it. McG has it ... for now. Eventually the positive aspects of his style will be studied, dissected, and replicated.
Conor hasn't fought a dominate wrestler like Frankie or Chad. I'm a fan of his and all but I can't see him not spending serious time on his back in either of those fights.
Not really a fan but he does bring some excitement to the 145 division that is pretty scarce in terms of personality.
