McGregor v. Aldo 2

A bought against Aldo would be a good come back test for McGregor. At this point, McGregor is not even remotely in the title picture. McGregor needs a decent but not too difficult come back fight. Of course Aldo, has to get by Font first.

Welcome.

Fuck tune up fights. McG only has a few miles left and they need to be used on big money fights.

What weight? McGregor would probably want Aldo to take the fight at 170

Denis Siver is ready. Last time they fought it earned Conor the title shot - this time should be no different.

Do you mean throw McGregor into title fights regardless of his current poor performance. From 2016, McGregor is 3 w, 4l and he has lost his last two fights. He’s not close to top 10 in either FW or LW.

Or do you mean just do interesting fights? Another Diaz fight? Masvidal?

Title fights or interesting fight, which ever would put up the highest ppv numbers. I don’t feel like he “deserves” a title fight in the traditional sense but it is a business.

Always wanted this fight to happen.

Mcgrgor won by fluke the first time IMO

Given what happened in Porier 2 and 3, Aldo deserves another crack at McGregor.

No way Conor is ever fighting at 145 again. Aldo would have to fight him at 155

Conor wins again btw. Assuming his injury hasn’t completely ruined him

Unless Aldo’s gameplan is soccer kicks to the (compromised) leg…

Or could do a catch weight.

Even if Conor wins people will say he beat a bantamweight, Tferg maybe

Nobody would buy it

McGregor vs Tony is the only fight that makes sense.

Would love to see the rematch at 155. It has to happen! At this point, Aldo takes it.

Yeh really fluky. He never meant to punch square on his chin at all.

It’d be crazy for him to rematch Aldo. The biggest moment of his career, and to go back to it he can’t possibly improve upon it, and is 50/50 at best to beat Aldo at all

Never gonna happen. Connor has gone up in weight and will never make 145 again, and Aldo has made changes to his body to be a 135er, where he’s having success. Sounds fun, but it’s practically an impossibility.

No chance McGregor fights Aldo again
