He’s much more flat footed now and without the movement he had at FW he’ll have to deal with Aldo’s full striking arsenal which is more varied than his.

Interestingly, McGregor just tweeted that he wants whoever the light weight champion is (Porier or Olivera). So probably he’s not interested in a tune up fight. When Couture was hot the UFC simply inserted him where ever they could. So maybe McGregor should get the same privilege.

If Matt Serra never had to fight GSP again, and instead defended his title against Frank Trigg, then moved up to 185 to fight mayhem Miller and lost. Then you’d praising Matt Serra and saying “GSP just lost, it wasn’t a fluke. Why should these two ever fight again? Matt Serra is one of the GOATS who’s lost 3 of his last 4!”
