I don’t think he’s pushed on anyone by the media. He’s been a masterful self-promoter and a lot of casual love to see him fight and hear him talk. I’m not one for the latter, but on-board to watch, and root against him.

I honestly don’t care about it at all. The only thing I slightly cared about is seeing Chandler get his pay day. Conor was going to get crushed like an aluminum can. Probably better off he doesn’t fight.

This whole thing has just been weird reporting. I don’t understand the vague way in which this is all being described.

BLAF to media: we are pessimistic about this fight happening

Media to fans: there is pessimism around Conor vs. Chandler, the fight is in jeopardy

Like, what does pessimism even mean in this case? Somebody called Ariel and told him Conor won’t make weight? Did he test positive for steroids?

I have never seen MMA news reported this way, somehow the fight is in jeopardy but nobody knows why, and everything is vague.

While I agree with that Chandler doesn’t deserve Max, is it also because you’re afraid that Chandler would have a real chance at beating Max? Unlike Justin, Chandler would use his wrestling and also has KO power even though Max has a granite chin

I just want to see a good, fun fight at this point and options are limited. So yeah, Chandler versus Max would fit the bill. People saying he doesn’t “deserve the fight” are kind of missing the point in my opinion.

He has come into the UFC and given us nothing but exciting fights. He was chosen to do TUF for a reason, and everyone wants to see him fight. I’m not saying give him a title fight, but let him bang, bro.
