McGregor will return to fight Masvidal.

Conor is fighting the Khabib/Dustin winner. Dana basically said it in the presser today.

Conor's losses have come from submission. Masvidal ain't exactly a submission artist. If they wanna bang it out, Conor is faster with heavier hands. That said, who the fuck knows what Conor is anymore.

I would be pulling for Conor, but I don't particularly like the matchup. Might go like the first Diaz fight, otherwise probably like the second Diaz fight, neither one is worth it for him between risk and damage imo.

It's all about what's "best for business." They will fight and Conor wins after some kind of controversy, perhaps Jorge gets DQ'ed for strikes after the bell, etc. Rematch sells YUGE number of PPV's. Everyone, including Dana gets richer.

Way to kill the Masvidal hype train. Can't see Jorge signing up for this. Retirement fund fight maybe.

Huh. Really? I think Masvidal smashes Mcgregor. Mcgregor isn't knocking him out and would need to pick him apart from outside. Not sure if he has the stamina to do that for 3 rounds let alone 5.

Massive Mcgregor fan to be clear, so no shade being thrown. He still comes back to own the 145lbs division including Holloway.

I think he's trolling you. Also not sure this fight ever gets made. Conor would have to beg Dana for it...

The protecting McGregor is ridiculous. Masvidal (5-11) too big for McGregor (5-9), but Holloway (5-11) not too big for Edgar (5-6)??? Holloway is huge compared to Edgar, yet that fight when on without question.

dana is hoping dustin gets injured so kalabeeb can fight mcgregor instead...

The fact is Conor is a championship fighter. Masvidal is not. In fact Masvidal was beaten out of LW. The division Conor was the lineal champion of (Conor beat the man who beat the man who beat the man and so on). Fun fact for the newbs: Khabib was gifted a paper belt against #11 on short notice, while having had 1 of the easiest roads to a title shot ever, where he avoided nearly all of the top 5 on his way up (Melendes, Pettis, Cerrone, Benson, Edgar, Thompson). Conor got the LW title shot because of his dominance at FW.  Masvidal is not on Conor's level. It's a moot point anyway because this fight is not happening lol. The only way Conor would take a non-meaningful fight like this, is if Conor gets his shares or if it's for a WW title

How do you make it thru the press conferences without Masvidal not giving Conor the Three piesce & a Soda.

Has Masvidal ever tapped?

genuine question.

There is no way they let mcgregor fight masvidal. Masvidal would most likely finish him violently

Diaz dropped and stunned him with a punch and went for the sub instead of the gnp stoppage. Either way it would have been over

I remember it differently maybe I need to watch again but I thought connor went for the take down because he was in trouble

Rudiger is a delusional troll. Nate never dropped Conor lmao. You Are remembering the fight correctly. Conor was putting a Massacre on Nate. Conor gassed himself out trying to put Nate away. Nate landed a 1-2 which changed the momentum of the fight. Conor was never ever truly hurt. After the 1-2 which changed the momentum, Nate started amping up the pressure. Nate pinned Conor to the fence and landed a knee to the body which seemed to really gas Conor. Conor shot for a takedown to get a breather (at no point was Conor ever hurt). Nate stuffed the takedown. Conor tried to utilise the same escape he did against Mendes, Nate stuffed that too, and eventually ended up in mount. Conor himself said that if he had just tied Nate up or circled out (instead of looking for a breather with a takedown), that he wouldve gone on to out point Nate in rounds 3 through 5. The rematch (where Conor dominated Nate) proved Conor was completely correct about all of his assessments of the 1st fight

The level of delusion in this post is just sad and kind of scary. Wowee..this part though:

"Conor shot for a takedown to get a breather"

..Yeah because shooting and fighting for a takedown when you're already gassed is a fantastic way to preserve energy, isn't it? Especially when you're Conor, who at that point had never shown himself to even be an average takedown artist.

Did you watch that fight? Seems like maybe you didn't. That's a pretty accurate description. And as far as Conor being a takedown artist. I think I've seem attempt 3 others... Against Holloway, and he hit them all.
