Former olympic wrestling silver medalist Sara McMann was supposed to be Ronda Rousey's toughest opponent to date when the two squared off at UFC 170.

Rousey finished McMann at 1:06 of the first round, her first loss in her eight fight pro career. McMann however would like the opportunity to get that fight again, regardless of whether or not it's for Rousey's bantamweight title:
"I'm chomping at the bit to fight her again," McMann told FOX Sports. "I don’t even care if she loses a title fight, I will fight her. I don't care if she's suddenly ranked 20th, I will fight her."
"Yes, obviously she has holes," McMann said of the champ. "She definitely has things that can be exploited. I was doing better in the first few minutes than she was striking wise."
McMann believes Rousey-McMann II would be marketable for the UFC, "considering how many people felt like it didn’t go the way it should have."
"Sometimes you just get caught," McMann said. "It doesn’t mean that a fighter is better than you."
Unfortunately we may not see it but Sara still is the best test. I personally feel the first fight was called a bit early considering she took no additional blows after she dropped and was going back for a takedown while Dean stepped in.

She fucking dropped like a stone grabbing her stomach while screaming in pain. Lol @ that being stopped early.

This.
She didn't go for the takedown until after the fight was already stopped.

Why does everyone on this forum insist on hyperbole. She wasn't screaming in pain, Jesus. If you watch it closely she was going for the takedown simultaneously with the stop.
They was absolutely not a single shot landed after she dropped. People get dropped. I'm assuming you did in fact see both over Overeems last couple losses… Check condo versus Pat Barry...Franky Vs Gray 1 and 2...etc etc. not to mention that Dean refs a fight earlier on in the night with Mike Pile taking the back and pummeling a guy that should have been stopped way sooner. Mind you, these are all examples where you guys were taking vicious shots continuously and either went on with different outcomes or were ended much later.
Don't forget that Serra knocking out PSP too. The bottom line is, it does not mean she's better. And even if she is, in your opinion, who else is Rhonda going to face? It was very clear that she did not have the ability to simply throw McMann to the ground. McMann also landed a few really good solid shots.
