MCT oil. Good or bad? TME

I've been adding 1-2 tablespoons of it to my morning coffee for the last week and I'm not yet sold on it.

Have any of you used it and are you a fan? Did you notice any benefits? Am I not taking enough?

Should I stop using it because it's a sham?

What are your opinions?

What is your goal? Your diet?

I work odd and changing hours and it's pretty much impossible to eat at regular times.

The main thing I want is more sustained energy because I do really physical work.

My diet isn't anything special. I eat takeaway on average twice a week. I don't eat super sugary foods very often at all and the only time I add sugar to anything is to my two cups of coffee I have per day.

I usually have something like a chicken or pork and vege risotto or pasta dish for lunch or maybe a salad and meat roll for a change.

I am quite fit but would like to reduce to body fat a bit. I don't know what it is at the moment but I'd guess it's around the 20% mark.

Ttt

A week, and not changed anything else? What exactly were you expecting?

Yuck @ intentionally adding highly processed oil to your diet

MCT oil is not going to do much on its own unless you become fat adapted and greatly lower your carbs. Without doing that you hormones are going to continued to tell your body you’re hungry and energy levels will stay low.

Thanks

Assuming you do make the necessary changes, is it a good or bad addition to your diet?

is it 1995 again? Stop making excuses for your shitting eating and fix your diet.

I don't eat shitting

I couldn't hack using it.   It gave me the runs
