media did follow-up with Houston?

seems like the media shouldve followed up with the following questions:

1. you've been competing in MMA since 2001. you began fighting in the UFC six months before Kimbo ever stepped foot into EliteXC's cage. did you bang your head during you pre-fight warm-up and forget how to fight?

2. Goldy and Rogan both said you were exhausted in the 2nd round. considering you hadnt actually done anything in the fight, can you explain the fatigue?

3. Rematch?

ttt for answers!

1. My trainers tried to convince me that I am a skilled MMA fighter rather than a MT style brawler, very similar to Kimbo. We created a gameplan that was designed to expose my MMA "superiority" over an unskilled fighter by systematically picking him apart. Unfortunately, I do not have the skills to execute such a gameplan effectively.

2. I've got 208 lbs of muscle packed onto a 185 lb frame, and have gassed in every fight that has gone over a minute in the UFC.

3. Sure, can Kimbo make the next Adrenaline MMA show? I'll put Monte in touch once my UFC walking papers get processed.

lol

yea he's definitely out of the ufc after this effort

I bet he gets at least one more fight. A catchweight fight with the UFC's new superstar, and he took it to a decision. He looked like an idiot doing it, but I think he knew a loss was not going to mess him up in the UFC.
1. I bet it was promised as part of the deal to fight Kimbo.
2. The UFC wants everyone to think that Houston is a badass. Cutting the guy right after he loses sends the wrong message.
I think Houston just did not want to be the first to lose to Kimbo in the UFC, he did, but at least he was not knocked out. I am sure in Houston's eyes he would have looked 10 times worse to the fans if he got cold cocked.

He has lost 4 UFC fights in a row, and the last one fucking sucked.

Goodbye Houston...it appears Joe Rogan was incorrect about you.

WTF happened to him? Has he said anything?

UFC.com has a postfight video, really brief...I thought he seemed way too comfortable with losing.

its not his weight class...im sure the ufc guaranteed him another fight for taking this at a catch weight

Losing his 4th fight in a row? To fucking Kimbo? With the Kalib Starnes type effort? I'd be fairly surprised.

i know he stopped training with Bob Schirmer awhile ago and i never heard of him finding another wrestling/ground coach.
