Well besids that one video, I don't think Nick has even hinted that there was some problem that kept him from making his flight. He basically says he didn't want to do it, and didn't think he'd be replaced for missing it.

How long does it take to drive from SF to Stockton out of interest? I always assumed it was a hell of a long way but then I heard Meltzer say it was just a couple of hours' drive.
As an aside I was in SF the other week and what a beautiful part of the world.
Hour an a half to two hours pending traffic.
