I personally think they should cut the roster down a bit, I think they have over 600 contracted fighters to fulfill all the frequent cards we've been having since the ESPN deal. A lot of the women and some men in the UFC should be fighter in lesser organizations.

Because nobody would watch, it would be incredibly obvious, and the blue haired twitter mob would bring down the cancel culture wrath.
They should limit womens mma to one fight per event and if its not a title fight it should be on the undercard. The striking has improved but its primitive compared to mens mma. The worst is throwing punches that miss by more than a foot. Why bother?

They did it because Gina, Cyborg and Ronda got a pop in Stikeforce. They were not going to sit back and let someone else make money off the females and control that market. When it comes to MMA.... if there is money on the table the UFC will take it. Look at the joke of a WFW division they have a world title for yet can't even put together a top 15 fighters list for the entire planet. That don't matter. They made money on Cyborg. Once she lost and asked for too much, goodbye Cyborg. They likely retire the division when Nunes is done. They would bring it back if they ever get another Gina/Cyborg though.

Naw, you need a big roster to feed the names. Everyone serves their role and purpose. If you cut all those guys then you will be left with the names barely fighting each other. The UFC just needs to better place fights on cards more accordingly and stop with all these low level WMMA fights dominating placements in the cards, as someone else said put those fights on the prelims
