Michael Jordan's Bulls only game 7 in the playoffs

Two things that are incredible about this game.

#1 as the topic says, in all of the Chicago Bulls 6 championship runs(two 3 peats), only one went to a game 7.

#2 Bulls were down by 13 at one point in this game.

He lost a game 7 against the Pistons. I don’t remember any game 7’s against the Knicks. 92 was a 4-2 series win wasn’t it?

The following year was a 6 game series in the conference finals.

92 was a 4-2 series that the bulls won. 93 was a 4-2 series that the bulls won. I knew there was no game 7 against the Lnicks when Michael played.

Maybe I’m losing it:

Oh. I’m stupid. I was looking only at the conference finals not semifnals. I was thinking they never went to a game 7 in the conference finals against the Knicks.

I figured out my own delusion. My bad.

Didn't the Bulls also go to a game 5 in the opening round when it was a best of 3?

Liyon - Didn't the Bulls also go to a game 5 in the opening round when it was a best of 3?

Wasn’t that against Cleveland with the famous game winning shot over Craig?

It felt like every possession in that game was legendary.

I didn't read D241's OP so I made a statement about a game 7 with the Pistons that doesn't even apply.  Then I argue incorrectly about the Knicks.  As my punishment I watched most of the Game 7 video of the Pacers game and what a treat.

The Orlando Magic are the only team to beat the Jordan Bulls in a playoff series.

Did Jordan play a full year that year or was that the year he came back mid-season?  No excuses, you are right, I was curious of the timing for my own knowledge.

I think that Olajuwon could have made the difference in the finals against a Michael team had he not been retired.  Maybe one of those two matchups would have fallen to the Rockets.  Michael said a few times that Olajuwon was someone they couldn't handle.

Bulls were 1-5 against the Rockets from 91 to 93
