  • Nate Marquardt was cut from the UFC due to a prexisting condition that he tried to hide from the athletic commission. The commission discovered it, alerted Dana White and due to Marquardt's previous knowledge of the condition, he was fired for trying to 'pull one over' on the UFC.

  • Nate Marquardt was cut from the UFC because it was perceived that when he was medically ineligible to fight, he 'sabotaged' future television negotiations and, in short, the UFC didn't appreciate it.

  • Nate Marquardt was cut from the UFC due to some sort of 'treatment' that the UFC was aware of. Marquardtallegedly abused this therapy, the levels were too high and the commission pulled the fight.

For as much as the pre-existing condition thing has come up, one really has to wonder how he could have pulled it past all the previous commissions he's fought under?

Hate to say it but of those options, the last one (test therapy or something like it) makes the most sense. Not saying it IS that, just of those listed.

I remember really wanting to see him fight in the States when I would see his ads in MMA magazines for such and such equipment company, listed as the KOP (which used to fascinate me). I also remember being really disappointed when he was busted for using PEDs. I dunno, I usually root for him but I'm disheartened as I await the real story.
