Meisha won the first two rounds, but she was the only one who got the brakes beat off her in that fight. Cats ground and pound was so savage in the third that Meisha let herself get kneed in the face just to get away from it. Didn't work out so well for her.
No wonder Cat won, Miesha beat the brakes off of her which made it impossible for Cat to stop kneeing her. You need brakes to stop and that's where a bad game plan can bite you in the ass. She should've just beat her and stopped before Cat lost her brakes.
Lol I know she's a woman, but damn she is more delusional than your average broad.
Her problem seems to be in her mental game; first it was Ronda she couldn't stop talking shit about (after losing to her), she gna start the same with Cat now?
Stop living in the past Miesha, work hard and move FORWARD, not backwards.
Meisha is getting some hate, but that gal is legit. I think it speaks volumes for Cat.
I'd love to see a rematch.
blakemp -Really? Did you see the second gif on the first page of this thread? If a fighter takes 4 clean knees and an elbow to the face and falls to their hands and knees, I'd call it a good stoppage. No reason for Tate to keep taking punishment. The Sultan - I thought she ate 4-5 knees to the face and then an elbow before the referee jumped in to save her?
You can watch the end of the video, and it's pretty clear that it was a ridiculous stoppage. She was taking hits, but they weren't causing her to turtle up or quit. Miesha Tate is someone who took a shin to the face that would've knocked any fighter out, and after she fell to the ground, she sub'd her opponent with an armbar. Miesha's chin is just insane, it's what allows her to confidently use that wilding striking style.
does she not realise kim winslow saved her life? her face would've had permanent dents in it if the fight wasnt stopped. yes i said her life, because without her face? shewould'nt be making as much money as she is now. not tryna bash her but she should stop and think thoroughly before she speaks
God I hate her!! so delusional
Zingano's boxing looked horrid in that fight. Sweet muay thai, doe.
Why do females hate female fighters
This is a woman who thinks Caraway is an acceptable boyfriend. Shes not that dialed into reality. Shes gorgeous though... And hot chicks arent exactly lauded for their sanity and logic.
pegson123 - Why do females hate female fightersEvery woman hates every other woman, even the ones they pretend to be friends with.
This isn't just exclusive to fighters.

To be fair, it looked like 3 clean knees and a blocked elbow. I'm not opposed to that line of thinking though, but how hard were those knees? Miriam Nakamoto vs Elizabeth Phillips (http://youtu.be/u8YXeMOKBJE) had a similar thing. Phillips had the UG hating her a little while ago, but the girl is tough as fuck and would not go down. If you watch the fight, at 9:15 she gets seriously rocked and retreats & by 9:35 she's like a flailing animal who's being controlled by Miriam, then she takes a horrific / brutal knee, and the ref stops the fight.
Where was that moment in the Miesha fight? I mean, Cat did land 2 hard knees, then she kind've lost control of Miesha's head for the last one, then she threw an elbow that was blocked... And that's what stops it? Miesha is adamant that she was going for a takedown; and I'm inclined to believe her. If the ref didn't stop the fight, the td would've failed, Miesha probably would've gone to her guard, and who knows what would've happened.
But given the seriously bad stoppages we've had since that fight, I can understand seeing it as a good stoppage.
Mark Hunts Pet Monkey - Yes, she "won" the first two rounds, but she didn't do jack shit to Zingano. Laying on someone for ten minutes and scoring points, and then getting totally owned and demolished in the third, is not anything anyone should be proud of.
Except when she rocked her twice in the first round. No where near close to lay n pray. Miesha was kicking some ass and taking her down and ground n pound with ease

blakemp -You're right, the elbow was blocked. I feel like Meisha being adamant about going for a takedown is her way of justifying an excuse in her head as to why the fight was stopped "early." It seemed she fell to the canvas on her hands and knees without extending her arms to reach for Cat's leg. The blood all over Tate's face along with the knees, elbow and falling down would probably sway most referees to stop a fight. I do see your side of the argument though. She could've pulled guard and recovered. Done something, anything. But then again she also could've taken even more damage and what would've been the point of that other than, obviously, further justifying the stoppage. So with that idea I can agree with you to an extent. Maybe we can agree to disagree on this one? HahaClarence Hurt -blakemp -Really? Did you see the second gif on the first page of this thread? She outwrestled her for 2 rounds, the only brake beating was the 20 punch combo and uber knees zingano delivered in the 3rd.
Off topic but this is one of the few threads I can look at.
Is the site broken for anyone else?
All I get is this:

when I click on underground forum.
Xuh - she said 'I beat the breaks off her in round 1 and 2'
and she did.
but... keep on hatin'
This.
She dominated Cat for rounds 1 & 2 and although Cat did land a bunch of nasty knees right before the stoppage I think the fight could've gone on.
Definitely want to see a rematch.
