Mike Brown's job is safe

I know there was some speculation about whether Mike Brown would still have a UFC job after losing last weekend, but he has been informed he's still on the roster. He had surgery earlier this week for a hand injury but next time he fights, it'll be in the UFC.

Good for him, thought he was done.  Very similar to Varner.

 Good for him

 Good for MTB!

Sagiv Lapkin -  Excellent news.

Very good news! I hope Mr Brown can get back on track and make another run for the title. Phone Post

Great news.

Was worried about where he would land after that one.

Rhani is a tough opponent so good call, i always enjoy watching you fight Mike, i hope you go out and get a KO when you get your hand back to health and show the UFC crowd what your about.

War Mr. Pink!

Brown has way more fans than Varner.
That and the UFC has plenty of 155ers. Brown is still a high profile 145er, even with a three-fight losing streak.

This is good to hear!!... err read

Brown is still a quality fighter, just a bit of a bad run.

Incidentally, Yahya's performance has been completely under reported. That fight should have been on the main card.

It is only two-fight losing streak, but he's also lost 4 of last 6. I hope he gets back to winning -- love watching him fight.

KingstonHawke - Them keeping him definitely had everything to do with him stepping in on short notice, and I'm happy they are taking care of him. I've always said fighters should train year round, and take fights on short notice all the time. Less expectations, more money, less chance of getting cut. Sounds like a win-win situation to me.
Easier said than done. Some guys cut 20 lbs each time they fight. It's just not possible for them to take fights on short notice.

Great news!

 Get better soon Mike!!!

get well mike
