Mike Moses asked me to post this on the forum. I will cut and paste the text later for those who do not have Facebook.

Cut/Paste please.
There will be blood, the sharks are circling and Tabor is going e-DOWN!
so if mike moses hasnt vouched for the black belt, then who is left? vinny souza? has a response been gotten from him, and i thought he couldnt award one anyway as he didntnhave the requisite stripes on his own belt to award a black belt.
i think its time for a "please explain"

Cou had a txt from Vinny saying he never told Jordan that he was promoting him...since he can't. He also said Jordan's crazy.
Here you go:
I have tried to stay out of this but the situation keeps getting bigger and my name, the Evolve name, and my friends names are getting thrown around along with false stories and allegations. Let me start by clearing up the situation with Lloyd Irvin. I had a student named Jordan Tabor for many years and he was part of Evolve Academy, not Team Lloyd Irvin. We had a lose affiliation with Lloyd and Lloyd was gracious enough to allow my students to train there anytime they wished. Jordan was never a part of his team, nor do I think he ever trained there more than a few times . I don’t think Lloyd would even remember him because of all the grapplers that come through there. To use or say that Lloyd backs any kind of belts or skill level that Jordan represents is false.
I also have been trying to let the pieces fall wherever they fall, but Jordan keeps stirring up trouble. I have had many calls and emails from forum members asking me questions about the legitimacy of his Black Belt. As I said then, I am sure he is a Black Belt level but I never gave him one. The highest rank he ever achieved at Evolve was a Brown Belt which was given to him over 4 years ago. Jordan has not been a part of Evolve since the time he left and has trained only one time with us since then.
I have strong feelings for Jordan because I spent many years with him and know that deep down he has a good heart. The actions and the posts I keep reading are not coming from the Jordan I knew. This is why I tried to stay behind the scene and let the dust settle about the whole Kit Dale situation.
As I said last night when texting with Jordan, If he was with our team he would have been kicked off over recent situations because this is not what Evolve students and instructors do. We are a Martial Arts academy and believe in living a positive lifestyle through the training of Martial Arts. The actions I have witnessed from him does not represent this. I hope that Jordan starts recognizing that burning all these bridges in this small BJJ community makes it a lonely place to be.
Has Jordan responded to Mike's FB post?
in for the entertainment value
Well that is that. I do not know Mike Moses, but he seems like a very level headed individual... Jordan Tabor however seems a wee bit loopy.
The sad reality is, if Tabor stayed with his first coach he'd be a blackbelt now and people would be congratulating him on his accomplishment. Wonder why he felt the need to leave his home academy.
He's basically saying the Evolve coaches wouldn't call somebody out and then ask for a whole year to prepare. LOL!
the saddest thing about this whole thing is skills wise, Jordan deserves to be a blackbelt. We all know that some serious time, dedication, injuries, heart, go into getting to that skill level.
He just made a poor personal decision and keeps digging his hole deeper
I think Jordan needs some kind of support system. Perhaps even take some time off for introspection...

To be honest I have seen nothing that indicates that he is even remotely close to black belt level.
Good one trick pony at leglocks does not make you a black belt.
From my understanding it includes things such as good take downs, sweeps, reversals, defenses, guard passes, transitions from many positions, chaining different upper and lower body attacks, a proficiency from a variety of positions, and the ability to demonstrate and explain them, just to name a few.
Maybe someone can link me some videos where he demonstrates some of these things instead of pulling bottom side control and trying to heelhook someone? Or anywhere where he demonstrates something other than a leglock?
^ I guess I am going off what others have said. His coach even said he thought he was black belt level
Just for general interest:
I noticed that he won the black belt division of the recent Good Fight Boston Open. He had one match in the gi and won in 19 seconds. I would guess a leg lock.
He also did no-gi and it looks like they had three guys so they did round robin style. No winners or placers are listed though.

Jordan is a piece of trash.. Guys made up so many lies he can't keep them straight.
Mike also said he would have kicked Jordan out of his club if he still trained there.
Facts jordan never paid his IBJJF $35 fee to register as a brown belt. Then lied about receiving his black belt... The guy should have went the legit path, like everyone else.
