Mike Thomas Brown vs. Diego "The Gun" Nunes - DAMN

I don't understand this. Brown was the WEC champ and defended 2 times. He doesn't even make the prelims? WTF?

So glad I took the time to watch this, amazing fight. When I was the results I assumed Mike Brown just didn't show up or wasn't prepared. That could not of been farther from the truth Diego Nunes took the fight from him. 99% of the fighters in MMA would've slowed down with an eye as swollen as that, Diego actually sped up once the injury took place. Very impressive fight especially considering Brown looked very good in the 1st round.

ttt for a great fight

 Vid has been removed :-(

that sucks, wasnt my vid so its not like i can reupload it

Brown upset the program by taking out Zuffa "Golden Boy" Urijah twice. They've had it in for him ever since.

new version, not upped by me though, so no telling how long it will be up

caposa - Why in the fuck was this on the untelevised prelims?

they should have gave two Fight of the Night bonuses

Mike Brown is the man as usual, and what a display by Diego Nunes

This is what the WEC and UFC merging is all about!

two top ten exciting fighters on the untelevised prelims!!!!

Aren't you glad they merged?????????? I would have hated to see this amazing fight for free on Versus.......

True man it was a crazy fight. You shouldnt have posted the video on here with all these snitches on here though, videos tend to go down quick with a bunch of uptight assholes reporting/flagging them.

Enigmatic - Great fight but a bad decision.

Too bad WEC already had Brown on the undercards for his last couple fights, otherwise your argument might work.

ttt

I think the OP meant it should've been on the televised card?

Great fight. I thought Brown edged it out slightly, but that was super close in rd 3.

Nice to see someone knee the shit out of the thigh like that. I have no clue why more people don't do that.

Awesome kicks by Nunes

ttt for Brown stepping up and fighting on short notice.

Was Brown's last fight in the WEC aired, genius?

 Good fight.

Rd 1 = Brown very clearly.

Rd 2 = Nunes clearly.

Rd 3 = Brown but closer than the last two.

He got the TD's and did a lot of controlling.

He also has Nunes against the cage a bit.

Nunes could have lost a point for fence grabbing.

(as he did it to stop Brown's control)

Brown even got another TD (For his 3rd?) with 30 seconds left.

Ref = Watch the illegal knee

Joe = He was not warned for it

Kind of funny
