Miller vs Oliveira

This fight hasn't got the buzz it deserves imo.

Oliveira has looked really good and Miller is ripe for some big fights. I bet the winner will get a top contender fight soon.

Should be a fun fight while it lasts, but I think Jimmy is just too much for Olivera. I see it looking alot like the Miller Danzig fight.

2nd best fight on the card, cant wait for this one

 WAR MILLER!!!!

Jim will find a way to win

Great fight. War Miller though! Phone Post

Oliveira will take this. He looked quite explosive in his last fight.

I'll take Miller, BJJ black belt, good wrestler AND he's an underdog on the betting lines.

I dont see Olivera making it to the final bell in this.

Miller unlike Efrain will not be scared to take Oliveira to the mat and test his skills I can't wait to watch

oliviera has looked phenomenal in his first two fights in the ufc. this is a step up in competition, so we'll see how he does.

imo, oliviera takes it in spectacular fashion.

and when Olivera makes it to the final bell...

You do know the BELL Centre will give Olivera the decision as payback for Bocek...

Only way miller wins is by ending this... Montreal is vindictive like that - They're french

Payback for Jim getting the decision in the fight where, for two of the three rounds, he landed more strikes and won the grappling?

Oliveira all the way

hubris - Oliveira all the way

Yeah... I see you were part of the NJ home cooking...Nice

Care of Fight Metric:

Round 1 Strikes Landed
Miller 19
Bocek 14

Grappling - Bocek takes Miller down, Miller works omoplata. Bocek pulls out of it into half-guard, Miller almost immediately attacks arm with kimura, sweeps, nearly finishes the fight. Grappling advantage to Miller.

Round 3 Strikes Landed
Miller 17
Bocek 14

Grappling - Bocek scores two takedowns. The first, Miller stands right back up. The second, Miller immediately gets up, takes Bocek down and takes his back. Grappling advantage to Miller as the only effective grappling was his back take.

So, for two rounds of the fight he landed more strikes and won the grappling, yet it's home cooking to win two rounds to one?

PLus, the only reason Jimmy lost the 2nd round is he dove for that knee bar and ended getting his back taken.

This is the best match-up on the card, IMO. Oliveira will win with crisper striking and more technical jiu-jitsu. Late sub or JD.

And Miller took it, nice one indeed. :)

Looks like Oliveira under-estimated Millers sub game??
