Better yet, don't regard other drivers on the road as your adversaries or enemies next time, and if somebody signals to get over, why not let them change lanes?
It doesn't make you a weakling before God, to do that. It makes you courteous & generous, or at least not a road-raging nit.
you do get your money back if you appear in court on your given day, BUT if he was bonded out by a bail bonds company, the company keeps (usuall) 10% of the bond!
My brother in law is the worst at the "cut 'em off or close the door on 'em" thing. Some guy puts on his blinker to get over and my bro' speeds up to slam the door on them. Then 2 minutes later he is all pissed that somone is doing the same thing to him. Finally, I said "you deserve it for slamming the door on the last guy that tried to get over." He has no clue what I am talking about. So I explained that speeding up to not let somone over is called "slamming the door on them." The counter to that is to get over before they can get next to your car or "cut them off". So everytime you try to slam the door on somone, you open yourself up to being countered or cut off. Just relax and let 'em in. Unless you like to drive all pissed off and stressed out like my bro.
That is great news! For people who live outside of LA, the bias of the legal system towards women here(after OJ) is hard to comprehend. My best friend was falsely accused of rape/battery. Lost his house, career, life savings, spent a year in jail. After seven years and multiple appeals his case is about to get overturned. Consider yourself fortunate and learn from your experience.
I don't realize how rude/bad LA drivers are until I go out of state.
Yeah, I am curious as to why you didn't get your bail money back? I've never heard of showing for your date, getting off the charge and then not getting the money refunded.
