can someone please explain to me what the heck a cobra hold is?
It's done from side mount. Mishima hooks the opposite ankle and hooks the head, and basically tries to bring them together. Mishima tries it all the time.

you have sidemount, you underhook your opponents ankle and his head with your other arm and try to bring them together, and it puts a lot of stress on the knee. Its more or less a leglock.
