I started this in the BettorMMA.com (a site I am apart of) forums. All contents of the thread are too much to post, but something everyone that bets on a fight should read to get a good feel for line moves etc.
Steam is when a betting line starts to move rapidly in one direction. Most "steam games" do not necessarily reflect objective circumstances, but are games that a mass of bettors are drawn to for some reason.
