What DVDs would you suggest? What ones have you seen you liked? What would you avoid?
Also, this is for taking the time to read this thread and possibly respond.
Bas ruttens big dvd of combat is nice set of basic to intermediate techniques from every aspect of mma. I also saw mark Kerrs takedown series. It gets into some advanced stuff that I'd consider low percentage.
I offer a free 3day a week instructional series on YouTube. YouTube.com/MMAsurge if you wanna check it out. Very user friendly and interactive.
Has anyone seen the new Set by Eddie Bravo? I'm curious to see how it is.
Ryan halls stuff is great also if your a beginner/ intermediate grappler then Roy deans dvd's are excellent

LOL!
For bjj, Ryan Hall's stuff is great. Each of his DVD's is very specific to a certain move or position though (triangle, deep half, 50/50, etc.), so if you're looking for a DVD set that covers multiple positions you'll have to look elsewhere. Maia's two sets are very good, if that's what you're looking for. Xande also has a really good 'whole game' set. Pablo Popovitch also put out a really great guard passing and taking the back DVD.
A good option might be to spend $25 and join Marcelo Garcia's website for a month. It's amazing, and has a huge amount of content. The Mendes brothers also recently launched a website that has some really great stuff too.
