MMA grammar question!

Why is it called "knee-strike", when you dont call a "fist-kick"?

Soup Nazi has knee-struck the correct.

If; knee-strike = strike with knee; then fist-kick = punch!

"Strike" is a hit using any part of your body. "Kick" is a hit specifically using your foot/leg.

WTF?!?!?!

A strike is using ANYTHING to hit someone. A 2x4, a fist, a bottle, a missile, etc. It's a GENERAL term.

A fist is SPECIFIC to your hand and a kick is SPECIFIC to your foot.

You COULD say "kneepunch", because a punch can be done with your fist, foot, or knee, but it's not common parlance.

Kick is derived from the Welsh word 'cic' which means 'the foot'.

Now, you have been schooled, and since I have done the schooling I command you to SHUT THE FUCK UP!

Ausgepicht - wrong week of the month for you??

Whoa. No, bro!

I wasn't serious. I was joking around. Don't take this place too seriously.

"knee strike" = strike to the knee.
"knee" = striking with the knee.
"knee-strike" = striking with the knee.
"fist-kick" = something you see in a jet li movie.

Dude, please pass the bong to me because you've had enough!!
