 In politics, most people are influenced by specific ideolgies whenever they enter into any discussion or debate.  If the discussion goes on long enough, it will eventually boil down to basically two influencing beliefs. The same could be said of us here on the UG and most UGers hold to their MMA ideologies more firmly than humans do to their political beliefs.  If any thread goes on long enough, it will eventually turn into an argument between MMA ideologies.  Here are a few i've noticed:

Any thread about any rankings ever will turn into Fedor/Anderson  Is/Isn't the GOAT

Any thread about any decision ever will turn into 1, 2, 5.

Any thread that even mentions weight classes will turn into JBJ is/isn't over-sized.

Any thread about Diaz will cease to be about his skill and end up being a legal argument over Marijuana.

Any thread on a fighter injury or a cancelled fight will now lead to lamentations on the death of MMA and how the UFC has been shit for the past couple years.

Recently, any thread about a fight coming up within the next two years devolves into whether Chael Sonnen is or isn't a piece of shit.
