Mobility/Stretching routines

What do you guys do for stretching and mobility? I've been in more pain than usual these past couple of weeks so the last few days I've been hammering the mobility work. Not sure if it's helping but I'm going to keep at it. I've followed Defranco's agile 8 and I use a foam roller/massage ball etc. Anyone have any good resources they could share for general stretching/mobility knowledge?

I have been using a simple 10 minute routine for over a year that has improved my mobility greatly and relieved pain. It's mostly runner's style stretching (if you Google image search "SI joint stretch" that's most of it) plus pigeon, frog and child's pose from yoga.

My SI is my problem area. I'll look into it. Thanks.

In for more info. And thanks Icy Mike.

The couch stretch is probably the most important stretch for any of my clients that are athletes or former athletes. But it's a pretty miserable stretch and most people slide into bad habits when doing it, which shifts the emphasis of the stretch away from where it should be. So learn how to do it correctly. Plenty of sites online.

This addresses an area of need that I see on lots of clients as well9site is being a piece of shit and not letting me post vid):

And the Bone Saw Calf Smash is excellent for stubborn gastroc, soleus and the aponeurosis associated with them. Be forewarned: you will see dead people when you do this one

Vtfu. Will look into it. Are you a PT by chance? I actually smashed my glute medius with a massage ball for the first time ever a few weeks ago and holy shit was it painful. I guess I'm really tight in that area.

Limber up Kenny!

Have you seen his Limber 11 (it's an extended version of the Agile 8)?

There is also a program started over on Reddit called "Starting Stretching".

The Starting Stretching routine from Reddit

There's Starting Stretching and Molding Mobility in Reddit that are pretty decent starter routines

I have similar issues, this has been very helpful. Really practical stuff mostly focused on lower back and pelvis.
