Police say the investigation revealed that a male student who attended Harwood Jr. High the previous school year had allegedly been involved in a physical relationship with Hathaway, who is 33.

The teenager ended the relationship after his mother caught them naked in bed, according to NBC-DFW.

At the time of the relationship, the student was in the ninth grade and 17 years old.
