Mona Vie..worth the money?

A "distributor" for this stuff came in and sold some bottles to my bosses.

Was just curious if the possible "benefits" justified the cost per serving.

I skimmed through the site. Basically what they're saying is.... "if you don't eat a variety of fruits and vegetables, this stuff has a bunch of the same nutrients in an easy package!"

Whole fruits and vegetables are generally better than juices, too (at least you get some fiber). Most American live on pizza, according to the site, so for those people, this is at least something.

It seems it'll help save the rain forest, too. I wonder if it works synergistically with the Great Pyramid to keep the earth in its orbit.

lol right.

i thought it at least sounded tasty...but that's an awful lot to be spending on a bottle of juice.

OK, backing off the cynicism -- I don't know for sure, but I'm tempted to give them the benefit of the doubt and think this is good stuff under certain conditions.

That is:

a) if you have more money than you know what to do with anyway, or

b) you have an excellent diet that you don't know how to improve any more given your current financial resources.

Which is to say: there are undoubtedly cheaper ways to get the benefits, other ways to clean up your diet that make more sense in terms of efficacy and finances. But.... if you just like the taste of the stuff, and want to spend the bucks, there are probably worse ways of doing this.

So..... is it worth it? depends on what you mean. Is it a cost-efficient way of improving your nutritional profile? HIGHLY unlikely.
