Jack asses announced it was in Las Vegas like a month ago. I've paid for plane tickets and rooms at the Hard Rock to attend the event and now I just found out that it's been moved out of nowhere.
This is some of the most unprofessional shit I've ever seen. I have a bunch of friends and family members that have spent a bunch of money to attend it as well.
Hopefully the airline won't nail me with a bunch of extra fees for switching flights. The cost of my flight is already doubling because of their decision to change venues.
Anyone else having their sphincter diameter increased courtesy of wsof moving this event?
What relative of yours is fighting in the event?
Still good boxing fights going on in Vegas that we bro
Khan Alexander and Bradley Chaves; 2 separate events. Khan Alexander has theslightly better undercard, but both great events
teamquestnorth - What relative of yours is fighting in the event?Rick Glenn

potato623 - Still good boxing fights going on in Vegas that we broRick Glenn is my brother in law, so i am going to watch him defend his belt. Otherwise I'd just enjoy a weekend in vegas.

Fuck it. Wish him the best and go party in Vegas.

Oh haha, damn that sucks, but I think the reason they left Vegas was two major Boxing events were unusually announced for Vegas that same weekend.
Rick Glenn's a fantastic fighter, that's awesome. He's the next Duke Rufus guy to take over! They're building a great camp over there.
potato623 -I appreciate the kind words. Hopefully he'll be a UFC champ some day. The kid is a fucking savage. He's just not really well known yet.jmfp -potato623 - Still good boxing fights going on in Vegas that we broRick Glenn is my brother in law, so i am going to watch him defend his belt. jmfp -Ok, given what I've gathered from this thread, this is what you should do:potato623 -I appreciate the kind words. Hopefully he'll be a UFC champ some day. The kid is a fucking savage. 1)Don't change the flight.
2)Go to Vegas as scheduled.
3)Bet everything you have on your relative. He's a beast as you say. Easy winner.
4)Watch the fight in your swank hotel.
5)Call your relative who just won, and let him know about the winnings, and that he needs to hurry up and unite with you guys in Vegas to enjoy the winnings and properly celebrate his victory. Sacramento has nothing to offer compared to Vegas in terms of entertainment.

frontrowbrian -It's none of my business what their bottom line says after having an event. It is my business what my bottom line says. I know the price of my flight just damn near doubled. I'm going to have to sink at least another $300 into this trip. That's if there is no fee for changing flights.
it's hard to find fights these days. Guys should be happy there's even a WSOF who is willing to get absolutely MURDERED financially to put these events on.
This is just me. I'm sure there are another 20+ fighters on the card, and their friends and families are being fucked too.

nm
gokudamus - nmThe problem isn't the event tickets. The problem is that on Oct. 23rd they announced that the fight was booked for the Hard Rock in Las Vegas. A lot of people have paid for flights and hotel rooms. Now those people are fucked.

Call wsof and complain I doubt it but mb you can get some compensation worth a shot, a ten minute to one hour max phone call could save you and your family members $300
SporkChop - OP is scared to go to North Highlands, IMO.
916, bitch tasty
LOL
Sacramento?
Dan Quinn vs. Dave Huckaba is a must!
SporkChop - OP is scared to go to North Highlands, IMO.Sounds like you're from the area. What's some good places to eat?

small chance that WSOF is still around by 2016.
It sucks, but it's better than canceling the event and not getting paid.
