       Frank Shamrock.     He had never trained in anything( martial arts, wrestling, boxing, etc) or even played any sports in school. I think he was in his early 20's when he started training w/ Ken and he beats Bas within a year (if I'm correct) and goes on to be the prototype for the modern MMA fighter and UFC champ.. Pure athleticsm, insane cardio, well rounded subs, striking, intelligence, and will to win and prepare to win.....

          Pretty incredible for someone who started so late in the game.He's hated around here, but it's all true. You gotta give him that.
