Mountain Dog Diet

Sounds like one of the best ways to eat. Any experiences or thoughts?

Shelby Starnes uses this approach to eating, right?

not sure. It is John Meadows "diet". Really it seems like less of a fad diet and more of a "eat healthy and brand it as a diet" deal. If that makes any sense.

Carbs come mostly from sources like oats, rice, potatoes, ezekiel bread, and veggies.

Organic meats and vegetables.

I know people who do and have done very well on the diet,.... i actually started eating grass fed beef and it tastes great

paleo, primal seem similar

From what's posted on the website, it does seem like the common sense approach. Eat healthy natural foods, e.g. grass fed beef is better than corn fed, etc.

This is similar to paleo, as mentioned, which seems to have less fluff. It might be worth checking out though.

Paleo also has a lot of free info on the web, which is a big advantage as well.

I started on a very strict paleo diet a few months ago. I eventually tweaked it to include potatoes, yams, oatmeal & rice and feel great eating like this. I've gone back & forth on milk but finally dropped it and feel better without it. Phone Post
