moving to brazil

I am taking a job in Brazil (sao paulo that begins in September) I am going to go to Brazil for a mnth in either April, May or early June to get used to being there.

Any idea for who I should contact for my first trip about training, and also where to stay for the month of my first trip.

how does that affect the answer? Working with an orphanage there, been a social worker here for a couple of years. My boyfriend and I need a change, so i took a 2 year job there, 10 weeks there, 2 weeks home.
