Mr. Wonderful v Bones Jones

I genuinely feel one of the only people that could potentially beats Jones is Mr Wonderful. He has a long reach, and could possibly be stronger than Jones. Make it happen. Phone Post

I see Jones fighting Hendo next or winner of the Shad/Phil fight

As much as I like Hendo, I feel he wouldn't be able to get a win. Its all about the reach with Jones. But, saying that, anything can happen in fighting... Phone Post

This is true and Jones is very good at extending his hand to keep that distance the way he wants it, plus against Hendo I see Jones taking a more wrestling approach in the sense that he will stay far away and look for opportunities for takedowns and clinches while wearing out Hendo's legs with kicks

No one seems to see this. Better wrestling plus better jiu jitsu. This is the fight I'm most worried about. Phone Post

I give Davis the best shot at beating him.

Ain't gonna happen though. Phone Post

Damn right man, and the fact that he is strong means his floor game will be even better against Jones. I do believe it's all reach with Jones. Watch any of his fights, and see the distance he fights at... Phone Post

And for anyone that says Phil Davis ain't ready...
He is in the exact same situation of Jones before his title shot. Before Shogun, Jones hadn't beat any top 10 had he? So I reckon is given the opportunity, Davis has it. Phone Post

The Hulkster - Too bad Rashad is going to take his lunch money

You shouldn't be so sure.... Phone Post

There is only one person who can Maul over Jones

Anyone else remember Davis not being able to take down Lil Nog for the first round and a half? Jones would beat that ass. I don't like Jones it's just the truth. Phone Post

I was incredibly underwhelmed by Davis vs Lil Nog (his first top 15 opponent)

As of now, Bones easily destroys Davis. We'll see how much he's improved versus Rashad

Jon would zulu him

Jones looked more dominant agianst a similar quality of opposition to what Davis has faced so far and was much more well-rounded than Davis is before he fought Shogun. Maybe Davis will surprise everybody against Rashad, but I just don't see him presenting any type of challenge to Jones based on what I've seen. Davis just looks like a prospect who has above average MMA wrestling and decent subs. Nothing else.

cmon guys Davis could not even take down lil Nog...what is he going to do to Jones?outstrike him??lmfao, gimme a break..

Bader was ranked in the top 10 at the time that Jones beat him.

Bones was FAR more dominant in his wins than Phil. Phil struggled with Lil Nog and that fight was up for grabs going into the 3rd.

I don't necessarily see Phil as having better wrestling than Jones at all, especially in MMA. People are so obsessed with the fact that he won a national title but Jones won a JUCO title and turned down a scholarship to Iowa. Who's to say he wouldn't have won a national title if he kept wrestling? Mark Munoz won a national title but we haven't seen that dominant wrestling in his MMA.

I really can't see Phil outwrestling Jones.

Did you really see Jones providing much of a challenge to Shogun when they fought? I know some people did, but a majority were like 'Shoguns gonna whop his ass'. I don't know, I just think it could possibly happen... Phone Post

Davis will never be a contender. Rashad, Machida, Rampage, Jones, Shogun, Hendo, Mo, Mousasi. 8 guys he will never beat and has no shot against.

He is deathly afraid to get hit and is almost as much hype as Bader. But Bader's time has come. Davis' is next. Phone Post

Hasn't it become obvious that there's no one in the lhw division for Jones? This guy can probably bulk up and then dominate the hw division, become overeem just like his brothers.

Can't wait to see the look on your faces when UFC on Fox 2 is over. Cant wait.

And btw, if he wasn't a 'contender', he wouldn't be in the main event of UFC on
Fox (which has huge hype behind it), especially when that fight is for a title shot. Phone Post
