It does have a fair amount. Real muay thai has a ton of clinch work, a lot of adjustments to better position, etc. Its certainly nothing compared to wrestling, but its again a good amount in the clinch.

Uh, it does have a lot of grappling. A sweep is a takedown. All of the fighting for position in the clinch is similar to the handfighting wrestlers do, but with slightly different positions.

True thai fight camps devote entire training sessions to only the clinch and grappling side of the sport.
