I saw this technique in a german kids judo book (very good BTW) by Delling/Sander, but have trouble working out what is going on due to inability to read German. Does anyone know any setups etc for it? They were showing some kind of turnover to the lock. I just can't see how the arm is locked, looks like its the wrong way around..anybody?
Isn't this a variation of ude garami with tori mounting uke?
Ah, that would make sense...it was weird cos tori's legs were under uke, uke was on back, tori facing mat with arm.
It's really just ude garami done from that position.
