Hello to everybody and I’m happy to be writing this blog and sharing a piece of my heart with you a couple of times a week. I’m really looking forward to the upcoming fight between Chris Leben and Wanderlei Silva. It’s amazing to see how much smaller he looks these days than he did before. The last time I saw Wanderlei, he had to be at least 220lbs. Now I believe he is fighting Chris Leben at 185lbs. WoW it’s pretty incredible. Although Wanderlei is not as sharp as he used to be back in the day, it will still be a really exciting fight. I love both of these men and I know that they are going to meet in the middle of the cage and provide amazing entertainment for the fans. The UFC continues to put on great match-ups that entertain the general public. At the end of the day, that’s the most important thing.
Some of you may have heard already but if not…I’m happy to be offering personal training to absolutely anybody who wants to train or know about training. It’s also good for people who want to lose weight as well or control their weight. So if you want to learn from a professional and want to be trained properly then I would be more than happy to show you the ropes and a couple of chains. There’s no secret pill or recipe. I don’t have anything special. But I can show you what I needed to do in order to compete. If you’re serious about fighting or getting in shape, it’ll cost to be the boss.
I’m also quite excited to announce the beginning of my career as a manager. As you know, I am 45 years of age and my career has taken a turn down a different road. I have decided that I love the game and in order to stay in the game, I need to use my expertise to help the next generation of fighters. I’m looking forward to showing fighters a little bit about what I did to survive in the top promotions. It’s not easy putting your body on the line and there aren’t too many people who can relate to what fighters are going through like I can. If people want to sign a contract with me, they will have a personal relationship with me. I am absolutely available to listen or try and offer some humble advice any time of the day. As one of my fighters, if you are ever in need of a conversation or some help, I will try my best to direct you.
I’m looking for any professional fighter to represent but I like men and ladies who are always ready, anytime or any place. If you think that people are going to sit around and wait to throw money at you later, then go ahead…it’s your career. However, don’t expect people to keep calling you back. When I fought, it didn’t matter whether it was your best friend or your cousin. MMA is nothing person. I never had any personal vendetta against anybody I fought against. It’s simply about who is the best at this particular competition. It could be arm wrestling or it could be chess or checkers. You compete and try and win against anybody. Fighting may be different because you’re trying to hurt the other person but you can also fight cleanly. Fighting your friends is sometimes better because neither of you ever resort to dirty tactics. Tom Erikson was, and still is, my best friend in the entire fight game. He was on top of me like a giant bear skin rug and beat the crap out of me. And you know what, after that we had no problem with each other. We were great friends and sparring partners but it didn’t mean we wouldn’t fight each other. I never understood that way of thinking.

Absolutely! The more former fighters as judges/refs the better. Particularly judges.
Gary Goodridge should be a judge and when they tally them up, he takes their cards and rips them in half. Then he gives the lone card to Buffer and says, "That's all you need."
What's your views on nut shots Gary?
How about a community relations job for UFC Canadafor the Big Daddy? Someone get the word out to Dana and their UFC Canada exec.
