Hey guys. I just had my first fight this november and wanted to post it on here for y'all. I'm from Iceland and MMA competition is illegal over here so we have to travel far to compete so it really is a big deal for us. I was extremely nervous so I didn't do any good, I had no movement what so ever and no faints. But I got the job done and in the end that's all that matters. Awesome learning experience for me though. Anyways here it is:

Was that amateur? I always thought amateur was with more protection gear?

Thanks alot RickStorm! Yeah that was amateur under the NSAC rules. I have heard of amateur fights where they wear shinguards as well but that's not NSAC (unified) rules I guess. Yes, I train there with Gunni and a bunch of other guys, like Árni Ísaksson, and we get training partners from Ireland sometimes, like Conor McGregor.
