CARD 1

Couture vs. Mark Coleman: two legends, a fight that should've happened years ago.

Cro Cop vs. Arlovski: either an opportunity for Cro Cop to get the TUF/UFC only crowd's attention or a chance for Arlovski to show the Sylvia losses were flukes.

CARD 2

Winners from above square off

Fedor vs. Vera-gives Fedor a fight in UFC and Vera a chance to shock the world and prove he deserved the big money.

CARD 3

Current champ (Couture, Coleman, Cro Cop, or Arlovski) vs. Fedor or Vera.

A little bit of a tourney feel-along with some great story lines.

it'll probably remain a wish, because I doubt of all people the UFC will give Mark Coleman a titleshot...

I thought when I clicked here it was going to be a real thread talking about possible HW scenarios in the UFC, not fantasy scenarios involving either guys that the UFC doesn't have currently (Fedor), won't have soon (Vera), or will never have again (Coleman).

Bullshit, Vera and Arlovski were in fucking grade school and the Liger was a cub circa UFC 2.

OK then... but even under UFC 2 rules, I think the "no biting" stipulation might hinder the Liger's performance somewhat...

Like I said-just a wish. Title also stated "My Heavyweight scenario".

Coleman just fought within the last few months. Coleman beat Shogun. Criticize all you want, these are facts. And I think a Couture-Coleman fight has a lot more going for it than a Couture-Sylvia rematch. Actually, it has more intrigue than any fight the UFC can provide other than Cro Cop.

Vera will be back in the UFC within the year.
