Started having neck problems a year ago when I got cross faced really hard going for a sloppy shot.
Did a tournament this weekend, nothing jacked up but somethings, including my neck, were a little sore, Then yesterday got guillotined and this morning sucks.
Both shoulders (left side labrum/biceps head- slap tear) it randomly dislocates and actually did as I finished up the end of this post so I had to come back up and add it here. It dislocates on average 2-3x per week when I'm just lying down, relaxed. Hurts like fuck. Prp has made it 10000x better but I'm waiting on stem right now for it. I refuse surgeries for this.
(Right shoulder- torn rotator cuff)
Both knees- acl/mcl on one, other is meniscus and lcl
Quite a few years back Left elbow was broken and I refused a cast and trained with my arm tucked in my belt so it hurts aftera certain amount of use which I did this past week
Bulged c6-c7 and the pain flairs every now and then. I move like RoboCop in addition to the numbness and tingling down my arm
Multiple broken toes and fingers that healed incorrectly and just flat out ache all the time whether I train or not.
Fuck that's just the injuries from training bjj that hurt me right now and I'm not including the shit I hurt from lifting, playing football, surfing, skating and fighting in the streets.
I'm not even 40 yet and am in constant pain all day everyday. Takes me a solid 15-20 minutes of rolling before my body even loosens up and lets me move how I want it too.

LMK how the stem cell thing works out. May be interested. Depends on cost.

bro, i had slap and branheart done, as well.as decompression on right. I would call it perfect but its fixed! Left still needs to be done, but I rarely dislocate it....right was bad i was going across tatame in '07 doing seionage with this big black belt and he figured out something was wrong and asked if i was ok. I told him im fine, but Ive dislocated my shoulder 3 times in fourr throws...can we walk the rest of the way :D
If you tell me stem cell works, Ill do that when left is total fubar!
also...neck, does it work for neck? I get that pain and umbness when I positional shoot rifle for more than a few minutes, but most other activities isnt so bad most times
hill dt spinal neck decompression machines will cure you if its a disc issue.
I don't think it is, my neck is almost 100%. 4 Chrio visits and the biggest thing that helped was leaving a lacross ball on the tender area on my upper back.
Took 2 weeks off and I trained comp class today and yesterday nogi. Just can't really wrestle or get snatched up in guillotines. I've been pulling when we go live. Gonna start wrestling near the end of the week hopefully.

Yes it works for neck and back but a surgeon has to inject it and it's done in the or. I used to sit in on the cases when I worked at the VA.
For shoulders knees and hips they're done easily with ultrasound or under fluoroscopy so easy money.
Prp has worked for me and I was supposed to have stem a couple months back but we ran into financial issues with the rep who was hooking it up. One of my wife's orthos is going to set it up for me here.
You're a vet, don't know if you use your benefits but try see if the VA offers it where you are. In Phoenix, it was a service offered to all vets and I was lucky enough to be a part of the program and help set the vets up for care when it started 2 Summers ago. Phoenix VA gives stem cell treatments for fucking free. FREE. People are paying upwards of 5k for the same treatments the VA gives the vets. Unbelievable.

If it's too expensive in hi lmk if you ever gonna travel to ca or az. I may have some resources to save costs on stem. Might as well get some treatments on a vacation

I almost got discharged in 80s for my feet in tech-training......So Im told that is an easy service connected 10? and maybe get it linked to my arthritic hip since that seems to be getting more bo5hersome. So maybe stem cell for that. Dunno how Id get neck and shoulder linked... LOL! But kinda embarrassed to put in for feet with 3 uncles and a cousin with war related ptsd and injuries Id be laughing stock of family :D
hill dt spinal neck decompression machines will cure you if its a disc issue.
I don't think it is, my neck is almost 100%. 4 Chrio visits and the biggest thing that helped was leaving a lacross ball on the tender area on my upper back.

Did you adjust how you sleep? When I hurt my neck or back I generally have to make sure I'm not reinjuring it when I sleep.

If you're covered and have VA insurance you can get any part treated with stem even if it's not service related. We treated many guys for shoulder injuries from training bjj and throwing baseballs lol just see what you qualify for

Yes, I sleep on my back (extremely hard for me) with a pillow with a lot of ch\ushion and move most of the cushion where my head rests to just outside my head to create a mold so my neck stays stable. Also tuck other pillows to my side to stop me from turning at night. This last time I tried elevating my feet on a pillow and that helped a lot too
Also no sleeping in the same bed as my gf. I only have a full bed and I need the whole thing when I'm like that lol.
