Starting soon for all you insomniacs.
Official draw: http://www.ippon.org/gp_tur2015.php
-60kg: heart says McKenzie (his documentary was amusing), head says Dashdavaa or Kitadai
-66kg: heart says Sobirov (remember when he was riding that undefeated streak?), head says Larose
-73kg: heart says Nicky D (is he still toking?), head says Sainjargal.
-81kg: heart says Attila Ungvari, head says Otgonbaatar (I am aware that I'm picking a lot of Mongols, yes)
-90kg: heart says Elmont, head says Magomedov (not to be confused with that fucking asshole Khan-Magomedov)
-100kg: heart says.....ah fuck it, this is probably the division with the least fucks given about it.
+100kg: second only to -100kg in least fucks given about it, I barely recognize anybody aside from Rafael Silva and every time I see him, he's on the wrong end of a Teddy Ringer highlight ippon. Maybe you guys know better?

81K - Pietri
90k- Juraev

Official results so far:
-60kg: LUTFILLAEV, Sharafuddin
-66kg: SOBIROV, Rishod
-73kg: ORUJOV, Rustam
-81kg: PIETRI, Loic
Glad Sobirov won. Good pick on -81kg, JBB.
Thanks, he was the easiest pick. Many matches are won on penalties that can go either way so it is hard to pick a winner. So many good players at this level. Wonderful for judo junkie like myself and the judo community in general. Can't be beat the competition level.
Yeah I saw some clips. Looked awesome.
I watched day 1&2 finals and match between Pietri and Toma (81k) for gold went like 3 minutes in Golden score before Peitre countered Toma's desperation throw. At this level of judo the competition is so fierce it is hard to predict a winner. And many newcomers making their mark.
