I'm out there looking for an opportunity to try to break into covering MMA for a living. This is the second article I've had posted on Dave Meltzer's website, and am just looking for feedback and hopefully an opportunity if it comes up.

Just something I noticed from a quick skim of the article - you may want to do some grammar checks and a bit more careful fact checking next time. For example, you used "it's" twice in the first sentence, once correctly and once incorrectly. Also, Ricardo Almeida was born in New York, not Brazil.
Not bad for a second attempt but you definitely need to fine-tune your writing style a bit if you're looking to make a living as a journalist. I won't comment on the content of the article itself - everyone has their own opinion on what makes good fight breakdowns, but just some constructive criticism.
Keep it up though! Practice makes perfect.
