I like Diaz but stop with the excueses.

Bitch gotta get paid. No excuses, except for the ones mentioned, but otherwise, no excuses. Phone Post 3.0

Respect.

I don't care what people think, I like the guy.  I don't think he's lying...probably was hurt and couldnt get enough cardio/sparring in during training to get the weight off.   Couldnt afford to pull out, so he showed up and gave it his best.

What I want to know is, did he need to get paid?

Thanks for clearing that up Nate.

yeah seems the leg kicks would really affect him late in the 2nd or 3rd round but as soon as they landed in the first nate started to decline in stance, movement. surprised he made it to the decision

cut this fukn guy already

RDA carried him by putting him on the mat. Otherwise it wouldn't gave gone the distance. Phone Post 3.0

yeah would have been a KO or TKO (injury)

He said so much and said nothing at the same time.

the only thing i was impressed with in that fight is the fact that nate took all those leg kicks and was able to walk out of that cage. orherwise i dont think rda has anything for pettis. Phone Post 3.0

Don't know that we've ever seen him or his brother quit? That's the only way, short of a break, that the leg kicks would have stopped the fights right? Phone Post 3.0

Usually when you see guys miss weight like that is because of an injury that prevents them from doing cardio. Wouldnt be surprised if he had leg/knee issue.

Others said the Diaz bros had never missed weight. It didn't really make sense that it would be "on purpose" or a "FU to the UFC." An injury and short camp makes more sense.
Wonder if he would have been able to better defend against the kicks... Ariel dropped the ball there.

he didn't really explain much, injured and out of shape basically, but didn't elaborate.
