its called a post fight interview, not spam my religion interview.
Pesci's Pen -And that's how it's supposed to work. Don't like something, change the channel. Everyone wins.Nick Diaz still GOAT -True too. VUGoob99 -failure at life - He seems like a good man.Vu for being reasonable.
I'm not religious at all but why do any of you give a fuck about what he says about his religion? If his religious believes stop him from further damaging a defenseless opponent than that is a good thing. If he carries himself in a similar manner in his day to day life, than why hate on his religion?
he started preaching so I turned it off. that's my perogative.

Nick Diaz still GOAT -If you're sure in your beliefs, you don't have to worry about being evangelized. As for me, if he isn't spewing hateful shit, I could care less what he says in the interview. At the end of the day, it's a fight...most would never put themselves in that position...and if that's what he needs to to draw some strength to do what he needs, I can't judge him.anpack20 -Nick Diaz still GOAT -I'm not religious by any means, but why does it offend you so much?Goob99 -failure at life - He seems like a good man.Vu for being reasonable.

I don't have a problem with him giving glory to his god, I just don't want to be evangelized to. he started with the "anyone who asks for forgivness for their sins will be let into heaven".
it just gets old after hearing it for 40 some years .

Speeches like that used to kinda bug me too.
But most people in their post fight speech are very emotional. They talk of things that motivate them or encourage them. Sometimes that's their coaches, their families, or even the death of a friend or family member.
Just remember most (I think) aren't using their time to preach, but simply sharing what their motivation was.
Nate is one the nicest human beings I've ever met. People make so many political statements and are considered heroes for speaking up for what they believe in.
Athletes sexualities have no place in sports either. When someone comes out as being gay that's all we have to hear about, because it's so "heroic."
Google Tim Tebow with terminally ill children. The guy would spend every free second he had in children's hospitals brightening dying children's lives. You can YouTube Bill Maher or just about any other liberal bashes Tebow and you'll see hours of people just talking shit about him. Jason Collins had a career average of 1.5 points per game, he comes out of the closet which no one even cares about. Does Fox News bash him like the liberal outlets bashed Tebow? F no. But he did get a call from Obama.
If you're going to bash people for speaking about their faith, don't do it on people who are using their faith to inspire them to be great people. Save it for guys who are constantly breaking the law and disrespecting people like Adrian Broner. When Adrian gets on the mic and thanks god, I can see the criticism.
The funny thing is for years everyone would say I bet you Christians would be upset if someone thanked "Allah"... if Khabib wins next month and does so, there will be crickets. At least from Christians for sure.
I love the rush to change the channel! Lol
You sit here and watch these cards for 5 hours with 60 second commercials for products that you'd never put in you body. Things with life threatening heath and side effect risk, and you can sit through all those.
But by golly, I'm not sitting here for 15 seconds and listen to some guy spew some shit I don't agree with.
You take yourselves way too seriously.
"When you win Fry Cook of the Year or whatever your shit job gives out, you can talk about whatever you want to talk about."

Triggered neck beards are out in full force tonight. I wonder how many of you stomped your fedoras out of shape in an atheistic rage after Nate's speech.
explodin - Nate is one the nicest human beings I've ever met. People make so many political statements and are considered heroes for speaking up for what they believe in.Very good point! If someone's faith leads them to do great, or charitable things, and they want to talk about it, what's the problem? People just can't look at things as a case by case basis and want to lump everyone in together.

These threads come up all the time. If someone dares to defend the person of faith on here, they have to start with a disclaimer "I'm not religious". Because they know they'll be labeled as a bible thumper, etc.

I never understand why people get upset about other people talking about their religion. Turn the channel. Ignore him. Mute him. Whatever. Just my opinion.
Jitzuuu - Don't care if he talks about his religion.Exactly. Hes a positive guy and class act. Who cares if he is Christian or Jewish or Buddhist or whatever. Some of you people need to chill out
I also don't care if someone turns it off.
People need to quit being triggered by everything and maybe people would start getting along.

chaplinshouse -how is he on the prelim of a thin card? pissed i didn't get to see it
Ufc is trying to push fightpass
That's why the last fight pass prelim fight on each card is main card worthy
i don't have pay tv or buy most ppv's so i like it but others will surely complain
It's really weird coming from Australia where we don't openly talk about religion or thank jesus for stuff. I have gotten used to it with watching predominantly American sports the last 25 years or so but it's still weird.
Goob99 -Me neither. Bunch of closed minded assholes on this site...Morpheus1976 -I don't see the problem if he wants to talk about what he believes in.Nick Diaz still GOAT - wouldn't know, as soon as he started spouting his religion I turned it off.this, religion is a private thing

you totally don't get it at all, did you even read the comments and understanding?
Nate did not confess the name of God's Son Jesus Christ, and also preached falsely that one must "believe in him and repent" (i.e. believe in Jesus and stop sinning) to go to heaven. This falsehood is made manifest by a clear reading of John 3:16 and Acts 16:31.
@ explodin
Though Tebow gets bashed by a lost world for being a 'Christian', Tebow, like Tony Robbins, is actually a motivational speaking salesman masquerading as a 'Christian'; a wolf in sheep's clothing as revealed by his fruits.
Not one of the childrens' testimonies in Tebow's Foundation promotional video exalting Tebow (Matt. 6:1, John 7:18) and soliciting money reveal that they have been brought to faith in the name of God's Son Jesus Christ...

I choose to believe on the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God (1 John 5:13).
He that is of God heareth God's words (John 8:47)
Meh, when I was younger I probably would be saying we dont near to hear that stuff but as I get older I care less and less about it. Matter of fact, I care less and less about nearly everything, it's great!
