Per the front page of the UG, Nate has not been suspended because the amounts of whatever it was he tested positive for were "trace" and believed to be due to a tainted supplement. I guess the same thing happened with Neil Magny in a previous fight.

Thanks for the update. It seems like it was Nate that sort of pulled himself from the card. He didn't like the narrative that was developing.
Hopefully we hear more from Nate soon. I would hate to see the fight be canceled.

I believe Nate's version of the story. USADA isn't denying the talk happened. Why would they have a talk with him about a drug test, with trace amounts of steroids in it if it wasn't enough to matter. I'm not aware of a time when trace amounts of steroids didn't matter for a guy getting caught his first time.
If Nate's telling the truth and USADA fucked up his test by accident or on purpose, who knows what other tests they fucked up. It is possible Nate doesn't take supplements, just like he says, and their tests are not 100% reliable. Maybe USADA is introducing new tests too fast to keep up.
Just get rid of the USADA .. and go back to the old system.

Its possible they are waiting until after the Askren fight to suspend him so they can announce Ben is fighting Masvidal. It's also possible they will just sweep it under the rug and make an excuse so he can fight like they do with Jon Jones.
