Nate Quarry has NOT been released by the UFC

The Athletic Management and Representation Group has represented Nate Quarry for nearly two years now and as I explained in the thread that perpetuated the idea that he had been cut by the UFC, the idea that he was released from his contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship is absolutely incorrect.

Nate has not been released by the UFC.

The reason for Nate's layoff is strictly due to the suspension he was given after the injuries he sustained during his March 31st bout, a suspension due to last 6 months which has not yet completed.

Nate's injuries while severe, were in no way career threatening and his doctors have advised us that not only can he return to compete in the UFC, but his face will actually be stronger then before.

Nate is a true warrior with a true warriors heart, he will be back and better then ever in the near future.

 that's good.

Good News, always like to watch Nate fight

The douche who reported his "firing" should be banned.

I'm curious as to how recovery from a facial injury can result in a fighter returning stronger than before?

Good news, Nate always brings it...

Possibly having scar tissue removed?or maybe you would prefer him just to say nate will be weak and never as good as he was?

Nate always gets his face smashed, I think he should stick to coaching where he is awesome at, why keep risking perm brain damage and injuries?

Good luck to him

Since the info is purportedly from a doctor, I'd like to hear how this makes Nate stronger than before.

As far as that thread, it was a mess, some guys listed were cut months ago, others like Quarry and Vemola aren't even cut.  Weak stuff there.

 Good news!

I posted that info a few days ago.

It's great to see so many people truly support Nate, I know he appreciates it.

To answer the question about his reconstructive surgery actually strengthening his face, the way it was explained to me is the bones will heal back together with the help of the screws which hold them together and in their correct place, this ensures that the bones fuse back together during the healing process correctly and in their original location.

It is the addition of the titanium mesh in conjunction with the fully healed bones that will give his facial structure some added support and his face some additional protection .

I hope this helps to explain a little.

so when is his expected return? always been a fan of nate. seems like a great guy and always puts on exciting fights.

Thanks for the post AMR Good to hear this about Nate
