When you learn basketball you get to take two steps after stop dribbling. In the NBA can they pretty much take as many as they want? 
The amount of traveling is ridiculous, almost every time they catch the ball or do a dunk or layup. It's barely a rule.
NBA teams are all across the country, it's necessary to travel so they can play other teams
there's no traveling in the NBA
I've even seen balls called strikes though they are outside the strike zone in baseball.
