Need advice fast

I have some Jet Power mats that i havent removed in a few months from the package actually since i got them from Brazil.

Now i have to put them i the gym tommorow and i removed them today from the package but they smell terrible,you cant breath,cough a lot...the whole room smells terrible ,you almost cant breath..

Anyone have any advice on what to do to remove the smell...because im suppose to put them in the gym tomorrow they dont stink its more of a strange smell..

Any advice fast would be great

What's it smell like? Have you tried wiping them down with a cleaning solution?

Do what Bolo says. Where did u get it from, MMAGear? You can make a post out to them (ie ATTN: MMAGEAR.com)


They may have some suggestions.

Bolo,thanks for answering fast..

Its hard to explain the smell...its similar to tires from cars but worse..

I cleaned them with water and put them on balcony to be in fresh cold air for 15 hours...

Any advice..

Sounds a little stupid, but have you tried Febreeze or something similar?

Try some cleaning solution rather than just water. Maybe even include a little bleach.

By the way, here's a solution I used to get rid of skunk smell off of a dog. I don't know if it will help with your mats, but it got rid of skunk.

1 quart 3 percent hydrogen peroxide

1/4 cup baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)

1 teaspoon liquid soap
