Cam- I am sure that Blake means Jeremy Stevens (Charleston SC) whom he (Blake) beat a while back. He does not train him, they're just friends. Jeremy would'nt fight under the "new rules", so instead, I offered the US Title to Cale Yarbrough. He took the fight and won by KO over Benjamin Bradley. However, Jeremy fought Pro on Oblas show and got KO'ed via headkick.

Lane, if Blake doesn't train him, does he manage him? If not, then why is Blake representing him and getting him fights? Who does train him? Shouldn't that person be getting him fights?
Anyway, Jeremy should be under suspension right now anyway because of his recent KO loss.
And it doesn't really matter about the "affiliation with a team" thing anymore. I have come to find out that as long as there is no official paperwork that states someone is affiliated with a team or individual then it's all good. Therefore even though I am the trainer for the Team Praxis guys I am still eligible to be licensed as a ref and a judge because there is no official paperwork connecting me with the team.

I was talking about Yahosuah Yahudah- a friend of mine that now lives in Thailand but is from Athens. He fought MMA in Australia recently and was scheduled to come home before this show. he is broke and wanted "any show- any fight". He called me from Bangkok to ask me this. Turns out he is staying in BKK for another few months. Jeremy Stevens called me a few months back and asked me to put him touch with Atl promoters which I did. I have no affiliation with Jeremy at all other than being friends which resulted from me fighting him a while back. Dave Oblas worked directly with Jeremy for his fight. Call dave and ask if you want. Why do I feel like you are trying to catch me in something? Do me and you have a problem that I am unaware of?

No, no problem and not trying to "catch you in anything". I just want to make sure the new rules are followed and are fair to everyone involved. The AC can't make rules and then apply them to only a few people. I'm just trying to keep them honest. I was under the impression that you were a member of Megalodon Gym and also affiliated with Casey Oxendine's team. I guess you have cut your ties with both teams... I also was under the impression that Jeremy trained with you. I have since found out that even if you do, it doesn't matter if there is no paperwork that links you to those teams, so unless you have a signed written contract that associates you with either team then you are OK. So, no harm, no foul. Carry on.

havent stepped foot in megalodon gym in over a year since my divorce. Dont have time. I am still close with scott hicks, brian, spooky, yoshi, etc but am not with them at all. I have 3 heavy bags and mats in my garage and thats all I do. Brian or Scott would be the connection with casey. I ref caseys shows and he is a good friend but my "official" training days are over. I may run over to the local BJJ school in Greenville a few times a month but thats it. I didnt think we have a problem but I am getting phone calls saying "blake go check out mma.tv cam is giving you shit"
No, not giving you shit... just making sure the AC sticks with their policies. I am glad you are still allowed to ref. At least we have one knowledgable and experienced ref still working shows in GA.
But, like I said earlier, I have since learned that the policy is that only if there is official paperwork tying one to an affiliation... so officials can train and represent whomever they want as long as there are no official documents solidifying an affiliation.
