Like said before. As a hiring Manager once I think I am being played I stop countering. Don’t play against one another just consider what is in front of you.
Good luck!
Are you married?
If not, go for the company that has the hottest, young secretaries. If not young, biggest tits.
Do you know what level you’re going in at?
Consider that as well.
Maybe Deloitte might match compensation from BCG but at a higher level position.
That might sound good to you but the promotions are longer apart higher up you get.
I’d rather work at more prestigious higher paying firm at lower level personally.
These are good points as well when considering jobs.
Thank you. My target company actually had the VP contact the hiring manager to make a position for me after we collaborated on a project and he met me, after our meeting we had drinks and chatted. He had a mutual friend contact me a few months later with a position he created and asked me to apply.
My big reason to leave to service side is everyone is fighting for their own “piece” when were on the same side. I get that industry is about that too, but i want to do it based off whats right, not shady practices. Ill bust my ass to help make the better widget that solves a problem, of someones better than me I’d redouble my efforts. Not try to be disparaging about whats right. I’d rather not have enemies, just competitors who are working towards a common goal.
Yes married and faithful, i know thats unheard of here.
You are not alone. There are a lot of us. We just don’t make as many threads about it.
But does your wife know you are ghey?
Most are offering the same level, management positions, exept the plastic company. They seem to be all in, which is weird becauee i know fuck all about plastic except thermoplasric use for space ops. Guess that struck a cord?
Who do you think pegs me?
Well if they are same positions the salary bands are very different from a Deloitte to a BCG.
That would be a disaster of a thread, lol.
Theyre all crazy, from what i can research Deloitte, BCG, and BAH the same position is over 100k spread. Its very strange after so long in public sector
I would take the high offer and put it in my “pocket”. Then I’d assemble my dream compensation package, and submit that to everyone else. Then I’d go with whoever is closest and has the most intriguing offer. You’re in the drivers seat with nothing to lose.
Ok you might be alone
They don’t all charge same rates to their clients.
Doubtful…i mean, i know a guy.
Just go to most prestigious firm if offers are similar, you’ll be better off in 5 years if you do that.
See, thats what most people tell me. But the things i want to work on require collaboration (based on current contracts). I want to have a good enough reputation that i can sub, or call other companies and have them sub to actually do things right (and cheaper for taxpayers). I know its not normal business practices, thats just how i feel.
