About the last 18 months of Andy Whitfield's life, the original star of Spartacus, as he was dealing with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
A pretty powerful documentary on facing death with dignity and the importance of having a loving and supportive family.
Highly recommend it.
Is it on Netflix or Amazon prime?
There is no chance I can watch that.
Ill def check it out. How should I expect to cry?
I saw this on the menu the other night and thought 'no way,' but I may revisit it now that you've posted this. Thanks OP.
Dongbar - Is it on Netflix or Amazon prime?
Netflix. Just watched it. Really well done and Andy and his wife seemed like people who were really good humans.
Don't think I could watch that, I'd like to, but sounds rough.

Animal Mother - There is no chance I can watch that.
This. I've had my fill when it comes to watching people go.

You're welcome. Noticing that many of your posts are very positive on family bonds, I think you'll get a lot out of this documentary.
Train Sumo - I watched it earlier today. Absolute prime of his life. Sad seeing him go from thinking he would beat it to accepting he was goimg to die. Yea, kinda scary that even a guy in super peak physique (and assuming other than the cancer, peak health) and access to the best healthcare that the West and to a lesser extent the East has to offer and still can't beat a "very treatable" variety of cancer- what does that say either about the common man's chances of surviving cancer or about the state of our medical advancements?
I want to watch but not trying to get depressed
Started watching it with my wife and was tearing up in the fucking credits watching him with his young kids
I didn't get far in but got to the point where he was considering alternative treatments rather than chemo.
Havent watched past there yet
Sounds like a downer. Rather watch American gangster again. "What family does he work for? U telling me a nigger did this all himself"
