Congratulations to everybody who was promoted!!! A teacher / coach could not be more proud of his guys!
Congrats to Donald, himself. I heard throught the grapevine that he recieved a well deserved Brown Belt promotion. congrats to a helluva teacher and training partner.
Yeah, after trying to avoid it like the plague, I got the brown on Saturday. Gotta keep training hard to live up to it; I'm in some serious company now.
Unfortunately, I also have a broken hand (just had surgery today) from training Vale-Tudo last week.
Nothing sucks more than getting a promotion and not being able to tie the belt.
Thx Dustin. Means a lot coming from a competitor like you. I'll have to gain some serious weight before the next time we see each other across the mat!
Got the splint off yesterday, still have pins in my hand. Off to Japan for K1 Heros on Tuesday. Hopefully when I get back I can actually tie my belt without help.
