New BJJ class in Philadelphia

Montero's TaeKwon-Do Studio Proudly offers classes in

Phillips' Jiu-Jitsu de Brazil Cross-Training

All classes taught by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt Lonnie Phillips. Lonnie started his training at the famous Gracie Jiu-jitsu academy in 1993 and received his blue belt from there. Then Lonnie continued his training under the renowned Machado brothers and received his purple and brown belt from Rigan Machado. Lonnie competed and trained with the Machados for many years. And in 2001, Lonnie tested and received his black belt from Professor Joe Moriera.

Lonnie’s methods incorporates ground grappling, leglocks, wrestling takedowns, boxing and muay thai thus the name Phillips' Jiu-Jitsu de Brazil Cross-Training. Lonnie also has a Black Belt in Shotokan Karate.

Lonnie has also trained with other grappling notables such as Gokor, Joe Charles, John De La O, and Ahmad Reese.

Mon. / Wed. - 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Tues. / Thurs - 8:30 - 9:30pm

Upon registration, the first 10 students will receive a free training uniform with first month's enrollment.
